Sea-Doo X-Team riders dominating Pro Stock class

Troy Snyder closing in on APBA Pro Stock championship

BRP’s Sea-Doo X-Team watercraft racer Troy Snyder claimed his first Pro Championship winning the Governor’s Cup in Charleston, WV and the Toyota National Racing Tour overall in the highly competitive Pro Stock class.

Snyder, riding a Neptune Racing prepared Sea-Doo RXP-X watercraft, is also poised to win the APBA National Tour Pro Stock championship where he leads the points chase by a commanding 18 points with only one round left. Sea-Doo X-Team racers have dominated the 2010 racing season winning 11 out of 15 races in the Pro Stock class between the two National Tours.

As competitive brands attempt to fill starting lines by giving away units, Sea-Doo watercraft mounted racers continue to fill podium spots. The top four championship positions in the Pro Stock class on the Toyota National Tour were those of Sea-Doo X-Team racers.

“The RXP-X is the watercraft I can go the fastest on. I work for a living so I don’t have a lot of time to train and try to make a slow watercraft fast,” says Snyder. “I ride what I feel is going to help me win and that has been my Neptune prepped Sea-Doo RXP-X and I have the championship to prove it.”

Snyder is also the current top money earner in the 2010 Sea-Doo X-Team Bounty racer contingency support program. The Sea-Doo X-Team Bounty is the sport’s only program that offers additional monetary support to ALL racers competing on Sea-Doo watercraft in the designated classes. BRP is the only personal watercraft manufacturer to offer this “open sponsorship” to watercraft racers.

The top Sea-Doo X-Team Bounty racers from around the world area also invited to a special “Brake the Bank” Sea-Doo X-Team Bounty competition at the IJSBA World Finals, worth at least $1000 for the winner. This event takes place October 3-10, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona and will be in front of over 10,000 fans.
