PersonalWatercraft.com May 7, 2015April 15, 2016 Images: Photos by Bo Zolland Shares Comments Designer creates illustration of motorcycle-inspired watercraftWhen it comes to beautiful motorcycle designs, Italian manufacturer Ducati is among the most revered. One designer has put together some illustrations showing what a Ducati-branded personal watercraft might look like. Vizualtech’s Bo Zolland dreamed up these beautiful renderings of a craft that looks heavily inspired by a Ducati Diavel, complete with trellis frame, air intakes at the front of the craft (perhaps not an ideal choice for a watercraft, but we digress), motorcycle-style handlebar, and dual side exhausts (???). According to the designer, the horribly named Wetcati would be powered by a pair of Ducati 1098cc engines. Together, those engines should produce something in the neighborhood of 320 naturally aspirated horsepower. Ready to hand over your hard-earned money for your own Wetcati? You’ll be waiting a while. Ducati has no plans to make this artist’s vision come true. But we can dream, can’t we?
