BRP Sea-Doo watercraft and sport boat dealer Lake Norman Power Sports has announced the details on the company’s 2009 ICW (intracoastal waterway) watercraft ride.
The Lake Norman Power Sports ICW run is an annual event that includes a multi-day watercraft ride on a scenic section of the south eastern seaboard. This year’s event is scheduled to take place August 6-9, 2009 and will encompass a 100-mile trek from Wrightsville Beach, NC to historic New Bern, NC.
The Lake Norman Power Sports ICW ride is open to all watercraft owners and takes riders past some of the most scenic land and waterscapes on the East Coast. This three-day event allows enthusiasts and casual personal watercraft riders to experience fun-filled riding with others who share the many of the same interests. The ride includes organized parking, mapped route, group meals, over night stays at waterside inns, and support crews to ensure all participants have the best possible experience.
Lake Norman Power Sports will be showcasing the new Sea-Doo GTX Limited iS and Sea-Doo RXT iS watercraft on the ride, both featuring iCONTROL. The iCONTROL system is the brain behind the new iS (intelligent Suspension), iTC (intelligent Trottle Control) and iBR (intelligent Brake & Reverse) systems, all of which are designed to make this type of ride more fun and enjoyable. The iS system is designed to offer the rider the smoothest ride possible in all riding conditions with a full rider suspension system and the new iTC with cruise control is the perfect feature to sit back and enjoy the scenery in comfort on longer rides.
