WaterTop Unlimited is planning the first professionally produced Hydro-JetDrag competition. The events will feature the first fixed, tandem mechanical starting system and marked two-lane course. “It’s time to bring some excitement to the PWC industry in regard to owner events,” says Tim McKercher, president of WaterTop Unlimited. “There is a tremendous underground contingent of grudge match PWC drag racers and WaterTop has event concepts and a plan that will create an entirely new organized activity for these owners with the Hydro-JetDrags. The Hydro-JetDrag events will be much more than 1/8 mile blasts and radar gun runs but a complete show, on-water and off.” WaterTop Unlimited already produces the Bimini Road Rally, where 20 PWC enthusiasts ride from Miami, Fla. to Bimini Island in the Bahamas for a four-day adventure. “We want to offer incredible experiences for PWC owners so we are looking at adding another exclusive WaterTop Rally E-venture in the mold of the Bimini Road Rally and bring back the mass appeal Florida PWC Rally Series with a fresh feel,” says McKercher.
