Racer is top money earner in Sea-Doo support program

Dustin Charrier is the top money earner in the Sea Doo X Team Bounty racer support program in the first half of the 2008 watercraft racing season.

Charrier has become one of the hottest young racing prospects in the country, enjoying a banner year aboard his Team Dean Sea-Doo RXP-X watercraft. Charrier has earned $2,294 from BRP and is enjoying the special X-TEAM bonus for riding the new 255 hp, race-inspired RXP-X and finishing atop the podium in watercraft races around the country.

The 2008 Sea-Doo X-Team Bounty contingency program includes a special bonus incentive for those aboard the new 2008 Sea Doo RXP-X and RXT-X watercraft. Numerous watercraft racers have capitalized on this X-Team bonus in 2008 by racing aboard the new Sea-Doo RXP-X watercraft, including program front runners Charrier, Scott Wilk and Eric Lagopoulos.

The 18-year-old Charrier was recently chosen as the APBA Racer of the Week by the APBA and the featured Racer of the Month by Watercraft World Magazine. Charrier and the other top Sea Doo watercraft racers will attempt to qualify for the special, invitation-only Sea-Doo X-Team Bounty Event taking place at the IJSBA World Finals in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. this fall. The winner of this special event will receive a special watercraft-related adventure trip (to be announced at IJSBA World Finals) and a cash prize.

The 2008 Sea-Doo X-Team Bounty program rewards racers who successfully compete aboard Sea-Doo watercraft in designated classes with additional cash. Payouts are available for top finishers in the various APBA sanctioned races across North America and for the IJSBA World Finals where the sports single biggest payout of $10,000 is available to the winner of Pro Runabout.
