I am a new member, and before I joined I viewed some of the comments about the ski that I just purchased, The SeaDoo RXT-X. There were quite a few questions that I had and were answered by reading your postings. There are also a few things I found out by doing some research myself.
I will start off by saying that the rxt-x is quite the performance bike it has been led up to be. It has plenty of power to do whatever your into, and it also performs like a luxury sports car. I have been on the competitors bikes and nothing comes close to the agility of this PWC. Furthermore, upon purchasing your bike, if you purchase the rxt-x, there are some things that all consumers must be made aware of. This would be the options that the bike should come with "no matter what the dealer says"! As we all know, accessories for any toy and the installation of the accessory does not come cheap. First, the boarding step. It is listed under standard options but it does not come on the bike. So stand your ground and make sure that they take care of it including the cost and labor to put it on (they can ask Sea Doo for re-imburstment later, and just remember "it is not your problem"). Also, the tool kit is standard! Sea Doo ships it with the ski, don't fall for the "it's an option". Some disappointing items that are true as far as "not" standard options is; No Fire Extinguisher, No Cover, No third key. There are some things that I believe Sea Doo should do for the customer, especially when they are purchasing a $14K toy! Other than that, I hope that everyone who has purchased a sea doo product is having a great time riding. Sincerely, Svensk67 |
