2004 yamaha warning light

I have an 04 yamaha HO cruiser. My warning light keeps flashing along with the oil can. When I check the oil level it is fine. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Sounds to be running hot. If your oil is fine then it sounds like you may be over heating the motor.

Are you running at high speeds for a long time? Pulling a raft or anything? Are you sure you have not sucked anything up into the intake gate?

Also make sure your ski is spitting water out the side. If it's not then the hose may need to cleaned.
