Sometimes It’s Safer to be on the Surfboard Than the Tow Machine + Video

Sometimes it's safer to take your chances with the wave

We’ve got mad respect for any surfer willing to ride a wave that’s so big they have to be towed into it. If we had to choose, we would normally take the safety of the tow machine verses the risk of the surfboard, but in this case, the guy on the tow in PWC was swallowed alive by the wave.
